To Kill a Mockingbird

Note: This activity was used during a language arts unit on To Kill a Mockingbird. This activity can be used in any content area class to study the Civil Rights Movement.

  1. Choose a Civil Rights topic from your teacher.
  2. Search the given websites for your topic. Take notes on things that interest you about your websites.
  3. You must find one more website on your topic and take notes from it also.
  4. You will create a handout for the class describing your chosen event.
  5. You will present your findings to the class on______________.
